At first, I was going to be in charge of accounting at the head office, but thanks to the president's recommendation that I move to a place where I can make more use of my personality, I have taken the position I am in now. I am grateful to the company for paying close attention to each and every employee.

I was born in Tokyo but have lived in Nachikatsuura since my childhood. The reason I joined the company was because I was looking for an environment where I could work even with a small child. I originally worked as an office worker and came across SANEI Service while looking for a workplace where I could focus on my lifestyle. I have experience as a medical office worker and have had many opportunities to interact with the elderly, so I feel that the homey atmosphere suits me.

The most rewarding part of my job is the moment when I can feel that I am helping someone. One particularly memorable episode was when a state of emergency was declared due to the Corona disaster. We could not close the day service completely, and we had to continue only providing meals. The “boxed lunch delivery service” was born out of this situation. The kitchen played a central role in the menu, and the entire team worked together to come up with a delivery method. It was a difficult time, but the fact that we were able to get through it with the help of our team gave us great confidence.

I came to Japan from the Philippines in December 2023. I have a wife and two children in the Philippines. Currently, I am mainly responsible for special cleaning services such as glass washer cleaning, carpet and floor waxing.

Short-term employment every six months is common in the Philippines, and I came to Japan with a dream of working in Japan for a long time in search of a stable life. Obtaining a visa was difficult, but while working as an intern at SANEI Service, I earned a monthly income is 2.5 to 3 times the average monthly income in the Philippines. I am very satisfied with that treatment.

I have no worries because my seniors provide me with friendly support as I perform my professional work. In addition, I feel very reassured by my colleagues from overseas at the head office as well as at the Shirahama and Wakayama offices. In the future, I would like to further speed up my work and increase the number of things I can do. I am also putting a lot of effort into studying Japanese, and am working hard to pass the proficiency test within the three-year period of my visa so that I can extend my stay in Japan.

On my days off, I do household chores and concentrate on my Japanese studies, but I also enjoy shopping for relaxation.

Currently, our four-person team is in charge of rental mats, water delivery, and new customer sales. I joined SANEI Service because I enjoy working with people and felt I could put my skills to good use. One of the reasons was that a relative of mine worked for the company.

The appeal of the company is the strong sense of camaraderie. I think it comes down to this. During the week, we focus on delivery work, and on weekends we also provide cleaning support, and I feel a sense of unity as a team. When I have to work on holidays, I am able to take time off in lieu of work, which makes it a very comfortable working environment.

There is a local community here, and I often meet people I know once I step outside. Sometimes these encounters lead to new jobs.

I am also a member of a local volleyball team and enjoy playing on weekdays to improve my physical fitness. There are members of the team who are about the same age as my own children, and we sometimes go out drinking together. I cherish my local connections and lead a fulfilling life every day.
